Interflora

Replacing plastic with a Sustainable Packaging

As a designer working with Interflora, a global network of over 58,000 affiliated flower shops in 140 countries, I had the opportunity to contribute to their mission of sustainability and inspire their customers, suppliers, and partners to adopt eco-friendly practices. One such project involved improving the packaging for Finsmakarna Norden, a supplier of gift boxes that included tea, Belgian chocolate, oil, and other goodies.

The original packaging was made of cheap gold-colored plastic, lacking the premium quality that Interflora and its customers desired. I reimagined the packaging design, creating a label that conveyed luxury and quality. The new tea packaging consisted of three parts: a rubber lid, a metal bottom, and a paper body. This redesign not only elevated the appearance of Finsmakarna Norden's products but also aligned with Interflora's commitment to sustainability.
