I drew my inspiration from the captivating Rice terraces of the Philippines, marveling at the incredible natural architecture resembling a series of intricately arranged steps. This inspiring sight sparked my imagination during the process of generating ideas, leading me to explore the possibility of incorporating the rice terrace pattern into my designs.

However, I encountered challenges as I struggled to strike the right balance between maintaining the essence of the terraces and ensuring a visually appealing and functional result. In a moment of creative breakthrough, I sketched the front view of a table and had an epiphany - I envisioned the table to be composed of layers, mirroring the construction of the rice terraces themselves. This realization breathed new life into my project.

The culmination of my efforts resulted in the creation of two distinct tables. The inner table serves as a sturdy support for the larger table and can be detached for separate use if desired. The outer table offers flexibility, allowing users to adjust its height as needed. By drawing inspiration from the natural wonder of the Rice terraces and incorporating their unique characteristics into my design, I was able to create a compelling and functional piece of furniture.
